The above diagram shows AscenTel™ setup for a basic enterprise configuration. The basic security level of the enterprise is maintained by AscenTel™ implementation. The call can originate from a landline or wireless phone having an Analog, T1, or VoIP connection. The AscenTel™ can also be setup behind a PBX. 

AscenTel™ is connected to the network through a firewall from where the system downloads VoiceXML applications and pre-recorded audio files using http/https protocol. The Voice applications can be hosted anywhere within the network.
