Ascent Computing Group, a leading provider of voice application platform software and business IT solutions and services, today announced a customer win with Mindscape Information Technology ('Mindscape'), a leading provider of banking and finance solutions based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mindscape currently supports all the IT needs of Mashreqbank, the largest private bank in the U.A.E, including a state-of-the-art fully automated customer call center with more than 100 agent positions serving Mashreqbank's retail and corporate customers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Mindscape and Ascent have jointly developed and redistributed Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions for Mashreqbank, based on Ascent's open standards-based AscenTel™ voice application platform. The voice recognition service is available to Mashreqbank's customers in both English and Arabic, and is initially available for managing a wide variety of credit cards functions. "With this partnership, Mindscape has the ability to offer cost effective VoiceXML-based IVR solutions," said Sunil Nikhar, President and CEO of Ascent Computing Group. "In addition, the agreement will also provide Ascent with the opportunity to tap into and leverage Mindscape's relationships with other enterprises in the GCC and Middle East region."
