Sunil Nikhar founded Ascent Computing Inc. after 10 years of diverse information technology industry experience, which included working  with several reputed companies such as IBM Corporation, Matsushita Corporation, SONY Corporation, Columbia House, TransAmerica and the New York Department of education.

Achievements and Awards
Sunil was selected as a finalist in Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2000 Award in Southwest Connecticut and New York Hudson Valley.

Educational Background
Sunil holds a Bachelor of Technology and a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India. Further, Sunil has also completed his MBA (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
